Pseudo-amenability of Brandt semigroup algebras
The concept of amenability for Banach algebras was introduced by Johnson in 1972 [6]. Several modifications of this notion, such as approximate amenability and pseudo-amenability, were introduced in [2] and [4]. In the current paper we investigate the pseudo-amenability of Brandt semigroup algebras. It was shown in [2] and [4] that for the group algebra L(G), amenability, approximate amenabilit...
متن کامل$sigma$-Connes Amenability and Pseudo-(Connes) Amenability of Beurling Algebras
In this paper, pseudo-amenability and pseudo-Connes amenability of weighted semigroup algebra $ell^1(S,omega)$ are studied. It is proved that pseudo-Connes amenability and pseudo-amenability of weighted group algebra $ell^1(G,omega)$ are the same. Examples are given to show that the class of $sigma$-Connes amenable dual Banach algebras is larger than that of Connes amenable dual Banach algebras.
متن کاملAmenability and Weak Amenability of the Semigroup Algebra l^1 (〖 S〗_T )
Let S be a semigroup with a left multiplier on S. A new product on S is defined by related to S and such that S and the new semigroup ST have the same underlying set as S. It is shown that if is injective then where, is the extension of on Also, we show that if is bijective then is amenable if and only if is so. Moreover, if S completely regular, then is weakly amenable.
متن کاملPseudo-contractibility Of Weighted L−Algebras
Let G be a locally compact group, 1 < p < ∞ and let ω be a weight function on G. Recently, we introduced the Lebesgue weighted L−algebra L ω (G). Here, we establish necessary and sufficient conditions for L ω (G) to be φ−contractible, pseudo-contractible or contractible. Moreover we give some similar results about L(G,ω).
متن کاملBiflatness and Pseudo-amenability of Segal Algebras
We investigate generalized amenability and biflatness properties of various (operator) Segal algebras in both the group algebra, L (G), and the Fourier algebra, A(G), of a locally compact group, G. Barry Johnson introduced the important concept of amenability for Banach algebras in [20], where he proved, among many other things, that a group algebra L1(G) is amenable precisely when the locally ...
